Halibut Cove Experience
                                      Fine Art Gallery

Art brings people together and bridges generations. We want our exhibits  to contribute to this togetherness while sharing our unique community.
We are coming to the end of a wonderful summer. Our last day of the season is September 4th but until then, we are open Tuesday thru Saturday from 2pm to 9pm. Closed Sunday and Monday.
Please remember to bring masks which we require upon entering the gallery. If by chance you have forgotten we will have masks available upon request. We will be making every effort to keep the community and our visitors healthy and safe from Covid 19.
If you are looking at the website after the season closure and want to contact any of our fine artists please contact us through email.

Our gallery is located 6 miles across Kachemak Bay from Homer, Alaska in the unique coastal community of Halibut Cove. The beauty of this area has attracted a number of artists to settle here.
Our mission is to advance the development of art in Halibut Cove by exhibiting the work of our local artists whom work in a variety of mediums.
The founding artists of the community were Diana Tillion and Alex Combs. They mentored many of our current artists over the years and nurtured a lasting commitment to the arts which continues to be passed through the generations.

Visiting
A visit to our gallery is part of a 4 hour
tour that departs from Homer twice daily during our summer season. The Danny J takes you on a tour of Gull Island bird sanctuary on the way to the community
of Halibut Cove. It docks at the Saltry Restaurant where passengers dine for
lunch or dinner. The Saltry is well known for serving quality fresh seafood dishes using  locally harvested and grown ingredients. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery from the deck as you dine. More information and full menu is offered on their website.

    The Halibut Cove Experience Gallery
is just a short walk down the scenic boardwalk where you will see the many works of art in a variety of mediums created byour local artists.
